## Nissan Juke Modifikasi Balap: Biaya Nyaris Rp 1 Miliar!

David Sebastian, a car enthusiast from Jakarta, modified his 2014 Nissan Juke to follow the proper race car, Japan Grand Touring Car (JGTC) or Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) concept. David began the modification process because he wanted to change the unusual-looking appearance of the Nissan Juke. He also chose this concept because he had always loved the world of motorsports. Even though there is no Juke racing car, David took several racing rules and used them as a basis for modifying his car.

The modification of David's Nissan Juke includes exterior, interior, engine and transmission, chassis, and electrical modifications. For the exterior, David painted his car Nismo Gray from Akasia Motor, and the fascia looks more aggressive because he customized the front bumper, widened the fenders, customized the lights, and modified the grill's appearance. He also added a side skirt and side splinter from Akasia Motor and a carbon mirror on the side. At the back, David added a tail light from the Nissan Juke 2018, custom wide fender, rear bumper, wing spoiler, and ducktail, making it look very attractive.

David also modified the chassis with WedsSport TC105X R17 x 9 ET 10 rims, wrapped with Nankang NS2R 255/40 R17 tires. He also used an SF Racing coilover, Track Spring Rate, 12.5 kgs at the front, and 9 kgs at the back, Custom rear caliper bracket, Under Control rear strut bar, Repaint lower arm and Repaint subframe. For the braking system, David used the Nashin K5 mini 6 POT 345mm single rotor for the front and Nashin N1R 2 POT 330 mm single rotor for the rear. David also modified the cabin by reducing the weight of the cabin and transforming the interior to look like a racing car, including using a custom dashboard, roll cage, and Beltenick seats for the driver and passengers. Lastly, David also changed the CVT gearbox to a manual and added a turbocharged engine and Bosch injector 530cc to produce the desired power. The extreme modification of David's car took 2.5 years and almost IDR 1 billion.
